Senior XBRL & Disclosure Management Consultant
Description
Candidate will be responsible for ensuring the success of customers in the implementation of AppVine's products and solutions. As an expert in AppVine's XBRL and Disclosure Management offerings, the candidate is AppVine's representative in the field, and provides subject matter expertise to customers and prospects.
As a member of AppVine's professional services team, you will be able to participate in all aspects of the project life cycle - from initial sale to go-live. As a representative of AppVine to customers, you will also be able to provide feedback into AppVine's product roadmap based on customer use cases and requirements.
This role requires up to 50% travel within Canada and to the United States.
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Eligible to work legally in Canada and the United States
- Experience with Disclosure Management and External Financial Reporting (i.e. 10K, 10Q)
- Understanding of XBRL technology (taxonomies, taxonomy extension, etc.)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a software implementation role
- Consultative approach to communicating with clients in person and over the phone
- Detail oriented & effective follow-through skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of IBM FSR a definite asset
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support sales efforts in a pre-sales and services capacity
- Work with customers to ensure the successful implementation of AppVine's External Financial Reporting solutions
- Conduct training sessions for AppVine customers
- Conduct follow up meetings with customers to ensure on-going success and satisfaction
- Participate in the mentoring and training of new hires
Senior Cognos TM1 Consultant
Description
Candidate will be responsible for ensuring the success of customers in the implementation of AppVine's products and solutions. As an expert in Cognos TM1, the candidate is AppVine's representative in the field, and provides subject matter expertise to customers and prospects.

Inside Sales Representative
Description
Candidate will be responsible for developing and managing lead generation, qualification, and tracking progress of leads generated.
Candidate will be responsible for contacting prospective clients in the marketplace, articulate business value and offerings, and schedule appointments for outside sales representatives to meet with the prospective client. Candidate will work in a team-based selling environment in conjunction with Outside Sales Executives. Inside Sales experience with an information technology consulting firm or business solutions firm or in the high-tech industry is a plus.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office and knowledge of the Internet
- Previous telemarketing/inside sales experience
- Consultative approach to selling and communicating with clients over the phone
- Detail oriented & effective follow-through skills
- Strong organizational skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, drive attendance, and manage events such as webinars, user group meetings, and road shows, trade shows, etc
- Coordinate website updates
- Research both the industry and accounts that fit in the particular vertical (through magazines/internet/Hoovers/etc)
- Maintain knowledge of competitors and trends in industry
- Qualify accounts by cold calling on accounts researched as well as follow up on web/partner leads
- Set conversations and web demonstrations for outside counterpart
- Uncover basic information including: pains, company goals/objectives, current systems, procedures, budget, timeframe, and decision making process
- Educate prospects on AppVine solutions
